new monk feat, inspired by Jaker2003

Actually, one other thing: it makes Druids who love Wild Shape stronger. That's one demographic which needs no power boost. :)

You must not have seen my posts about druids, then, if you think I can be swayed with that argument. And, actually, I don't agree with you even with that. One of the main arguments about the "power" of druids is that they can get the much higher Strength scores of the animal forms. Which would totally make this feat pointless, m'kay...

......you do remember, don't you, that natural attacks do not count as unarmed attacks (they count as being armed!), and that a melee touch attack isn't necessarily unarmed either when you're wielding a Flame Blade or something (doesn't it also make you count as armed?).....

Yeah yeah yeah, you and your "reasons" and "arguments"... that "logic" crap is so 3rd edition! Rules lawyer! Sell out! Uh... logic munchkin!

Okay, so maybe the feat weakens foes like Shadows (str drain) and Wizards (Ray of Enfeeblement), and that's not a very big effect.

Maybe a Druid who's shape-shifted into a low-Str form (like a Viper) gains a mild advantage.

Maybe it allows cool high-Wis Rogues to be effective and that is cool.

Hmm...

Heh. Best way to stop that tactic is, instead of giving Druids the average scores for animal of type, they replace their racial adjustments with the animal's.

That way, you'll start seeing Druids paying attention to their physical attributes again.

I've been thinking about this even without other factors.
