New Old guy needs a hand

First post here. I have a question. A friend is going to run a epic game just for giving our poor GM of 6 years a break every now and then. Campaign will be 28th level and I want to be an Mindflayer what level sorcerer will I be?

Sounds like fun! The way to check is to grab the Monster Manual. Take the mindflayer's hit dice (8), add its ECL (+7 - effective character level), and subtract that from 28th level. In other words, you'd have 13 additional levels in sorcerer.

Yeah but honestly I would have gone psionic class for mindflayer. There are better sorcerer candiates out there, like Steel Dragons for starters.
