New Podcast format makes me sad

Well I tried. Itunes said it converted it. Don't see any difference and still won't sync with my ipod (which is video capable).

I wonder if it stores the converted file somewhere else?
I encountered the same issue. It turns out that iTunes converts the podcast into a movie, so you should look in the Movies section of your iTunes Library.

When in doubt, check the Recently Added smart playlist to figure out where iTunes put something. From there you can use Get Info (command-I) to see the location on disk, which should also tell you what kind of item iTunes considers it.

Thanks Pseudopsyche...that did the trick.

Thanks all...now I guess I better get out there and run...of course it is snowing...:p

They should just have used their old format... this is quite annoying.
Actually I think the quality of the 'cast, in terms of entertainment and educational value, is worth the smaller bite-sized chunks. I'm really enjoying these installments.

I also doubt I stand alone when I ask Wizards to do the same thing for a new Penny Arcade/Wheaton sesh.

I love the new format, I never could get into the Penny Arcade thing,

I've tried to listen to other podcasts which were recordings of games, I couldn't tell the voices apart, everything just got confusing and uninteresting

This being a video is wonderful.

I totally agree. :)

Also it's an awesome thing to show someone who want's to know what RPG's are and how they are played. Nothing explain it better than to actually SEE it.

They need to come to some sort of compromise. These are way too short and take a year and a day to download.

Also, I don't have time to sit at my computer and watch video of dubious quality. However, commuting and some of the more basic lab tasks at work leave me TONS of audio time. I could handle an hour a week of audio podcasts just from Wizards, but 30 minutes of video is actually a massive inconvenience.

They would have to be a LOT more compelling to get me to watch more of these.
