Is there a button or an option to get the new posts since my last visit?

Yes, new posts will have a yellow icon on the left, instead of the blue one.
If you mean new posts to any forum then you could try subscribing to these forums you are interested in and then going to your user control panel (thats the "user cp" button top right). This will show you the subscribed forums and which have new threads.
