Dire Bare
Legend
In the first set of rulebooks we know we'll see Arcane, Divine and Martial power sources. And we know we'll most likely see Primal and Psionic power sources next year.
WotC just revealed one of their new power sources to be released later this year in a new, as yet unnamed campaign setting. And the new power source is . . . . Funk!
Classes that derive their powers from Funk include the battledancer, rhymespinner, and funkmaster. Funky powers tend to be charisma-based and can only be used by single-classed characters from the above list. You either have Funk or you don't, there is no multiclassing into Funk! There will be mechanics for classes that have no Funk to try and emulate Funky powers, but only NPCs and monsters without Funk can be fooled in this manner.
I can't wait!
I'd provide a link for the scoop, but if you're Funky you actually already know about this scoop and don't need a link. And if you aren't, well, there's no point really as only Funky players can play Funky characters.
