However, I think the Eberron setting could count as something of a risky venture. It's certainly something different from their previous fare.

Hopefully they scrap the whole project. Or let it go the way of Ghostwalk, one shot, thanks and lets move on.

I don't disagree with that, although the ho-hum Modern Weapons Locker & Player's Guide to Faerun are recent as well.

This is what happens when you have 95 percent crunch. I wouldn't say ho-hum, I'd say both are boringly useful.

I've been pretty critical of WoTC in the past and have had my share of arguments with various Wizard's employees online over the years (who invariably get laid off shortly after said disagreements ).

Hmm.

That being said I have no problems admitting that WoTC is putting out some very good products right now.

I'd rather reserve my judgment. The only praise I can give is that their products overall are "decent."
