What kinds of new countries/regions/continents would you like to see added for Forgotten Realms and what cultures should they be based on? I would like to see an area based on Hawaii and the Polynesian islands. Also, if there is not yet a continent based on South American cultures (like the Incas), I would like to see that too.

Sometimes, what is new is old. Check out the Maztica boxed set for info on a Meso-American style culture for the Realms.

Of course, it was subsumed by Returned Abeir....

However at least some denizen seem to have migrated to the mainland before the island vanished. IIRC a recent article about the moonshae islands mentioned either Jaguar Knights or Eagle Knights, so not all macticans have been transported to Abeir

On a side note, I think it would be pretty neat if you could make a homebrew continent modeled after Khorvaire from Eberron.

On topic: I thought there was a place modeled after SA not being part of Maztica.

There are actually more continents in Toril than Maztica and Faerun/Kara-Tur/Al'Qadim.
Katashka for instance is a large landmass with what seems like a hybrid Polynesian-African culture (tribes from which migrated to Chult).

Yes, that, as well as Anachrome which is modeled after North America and Osse which is modeled after Australia and the Aborigones. Any others?

I think you covered them. Apart from little blurbs mentioning them in Grand History of the Realms your only chance of finding additional information is from Greenwood's Q&As in Candlekeep.

Btw, it is Anchorome:)
