New Quickling

I rejoice in the quicklings return, and only hope they don't give him twin actions (like choker) I know it will be too easy for casters to steal this power and abuse it. If they leave this loophole closed from the begining we won't have to wory about HRs for splatbooks in the future.
ie PUN-PUN

Given all the problems with Polymorph--and the huge amount of attention they've given to the problems with Polymorph--I doubt we'll see any spells or abilities that let a player grab abilities from any monster in the game. More likely we'll see more specific spells and abilities: Mordenkainen's Greater Turnintoabearandmaulstuff, Shape of an Owlbear, Form of a Bucket of Water, etc.

Nice composition. I'd tone down the deltoids (shoulder muscles) a bit, bring them more in line with the thighs. The pectorals could use some better definition. But I like it.

My favorite interpretation of fey comes, not surprisingly, from Charles Vess.

We have to get out of here before they eat Guy!

I have to admit, that's not what I think of when I think of quickling. I see the "mini-elf on crack", as mentioned. This is a cool piece of art, but this looks more like a mini-grimlock than anything Fey. Fey can be mean, but they aren't (in my mind) perfectly adapted to lightless depths, as this hairless, pupilless little fellow seems to be.

I'm calling him a Kurzzle. He's from either the Underdark or the Shadowfell.

Like the new version of the gnome, I don't much care for the Bug Eyed Alien influence. While there are some good ugly and insect-influenced fey, these aren't it.
