New Race: Fire Elves

Yo Tas can you tell me rules for a NPC fire Elve because i'm a first time DM so please be nice

It works pretty much the same as with every other race. An easy approach would be to take a human barbarian from table 2-33 in the 3rd ed DMG - just add the ability modifiers, change the saves and the attack bonuses, and add the spell like abilities/special abilites. That's all there is to it.

Alternatively, you could simply create a 1st level Warrior, using the warrior npc class:

Attack bonus +2 (+1 as a warrior, +1 because of the strength modifier)
Hit points: 9 (1d8 max first level, +1 because of the con. modifier)
Fortitude save: +3 (+2 warrior, +1 because of the con. modifier)
Reflex save: +1 (-1 because of the dex modifier, +2 Lightning reflexes (as a possible feat at first level), 0 as a warrior)
Will save: 0 (no modifiers)
AC: 12 (hide armor +3, dex modifier -1)
Damage: Greataxe 1d12 +1(str. mod.)
Inititative -1 (again, the dex modifier)

Skill points: 8; I'd choose the classics Search, Spot, Move Silently, Hide, Climb... stuff like that. actually, I wouldn't really care about the skills. I'd just assume that he has a +1mod on all reasonable skills and otherwise I'd go with the ability mods.

Spell like abilites: burning hands, produce flame, 1/day as a 1st level sorcerer
Fire resistance 5
He takes half again as much damage as normal from cold.

Did I forget anything? probably. but it gives you an idea. Hope that helps!

You could rename them something like Red Elves and make their favored class barbarians (you say their on steroids or whatever). Then you can add some unique abilities like the fire genesi's fire touch or something. Just thought I should help.

Actually, I have a name for them: Fireath. which sounds great in german, where you pronounce it Fee-reh-ahtt. If you say the name in English it sounds pretty silly, I guess.

Unique abilites would be great, I just don't have any good ideas. I thought about giving them Fire Resistance 5 +1/character level. Which would be pretty non-standard.

Do you have any ideas for other/ more unique powers?
