The Tomb and The Temple of Khan
LITTLE ROCK, AR – October 27, 2005 – Troll Lord Games announced today the release of two d20 adventure modules: “The Temple of Kubla Khan” and “The Tomb of Kubla Khan.” Both high level adventure modules are saddle stitched, 24 pages with a MSRP of $10.95.
The Temple of Kubla Khan and Tomb of Kubla Khan were both written by Casey Christofferson, one of the best d20 writers in the market today. Casey has a wide range of credits to his name from both Troll Lord Games and Necromancer Games, a premier d20 publishing company. “This is just what the d20 doctor ordered,” remarked Davis Chenault of Troll Lord Games. “These adventures are not your typical long winded d20 affairs, but short and packed with action! You can snatch a copy at your local hobby shop, read it on the fly, and be ready to game that night!”
From The Temple of Kubla Khan: In dark, dank hallways and twisted corridors lie the secrets of the past. Plunge into that black pitch of evil to battle a host of creatures and strive to keep the binding upon the Crawling Queen. But strange things lie in the deeps of the world, forgotten magic and unheard of monsters.
From The Tomb of Kubla Khan: A horror lies within the Khan’s Tomb. Few who have entered have returned and those who have, gibber madness of dark places and strange, nightmarish creatures. But there are rumors of a wealth beyond imaging. The old Khan hoarded mounds of gold and gems, artifacts and relics of power to hurry his passage to the divinity he ever sought in life and strove to achieve after his death. It is this hint of wealth that calls the intrepid adventurer to the Tomb of Kubla Khan.
The Temple and Tomb of Kubla Khan are adventure modules designed for 4-6 characters of 7-9th level. Both can be played separately or in conjunction with each other.
