New Resident Evil: Apocalypse trailer

I just want to see some hunters, preferably the reptile apes[part one] or the cancerous ones [last escape/ biohazard]. The froggish hunter gammas are not the gratest IMO.

I could never understand why RE the movie was always so reviled. I thought it was by far the best adaptation of a video game ever done and a terrific movie in it's own right. I thought they did an excellent job of tying it into the games as it essentially was RE Point Zero (since it predates the first game) and it captured very well the whole feeling of being trapped in a place you can't get out of with all of these deformed monstrosities trying to eat you. I was also an extremely stylish movie with some very nice camera and design work.

Damn...Bloody....Soundless.....computer..... Oh, well, it holds promise. The first thing I thought was that at least the graphics on the monsters looked a lot better. It's on my must see list as well.

I absolutely agree with you. I was expecting a horrid adaptation, and instead I get a well-integrated prequel!

Like you, I was very impressed with how they tied it into the games - how the mansion ties into things, how the t-virus escapes, a brief mention of the "Nemesis" project... Great stuff. (I think maybe as a stand-alone movie it wasn't great, but as part of the whole Resident Evil/Biohazard storyline - top notch, IMO.)

I very much look forward to the second movie (the original teaser trailer - the commercial for "Regeneration" - was just freakin' awesome).
