A number of gamers have already ventured into the fascinating lands of Acrohelion. Will you be the next to take up the quest, and aid the King of the Free to defend the besieged paladin-realm of Aesios? Or work to foil the plots of the perilous Black Summoners of Insarc, with their summoned devils and their strange spiral-cities where prisoners are sacrificed to the Despot God? Perhaps you will venture into the mountaintop lair of the Chill King, with its deadly art galleries and frozen treasures? Or brave the dangerous gales of the Shrieking Vale to gather the magical temnosul? Heroes can investigate the strange deeds of the organizations called the Puzzlers and the Mazes, whose members literally devour magical writings for their own purposes, and will slay to gain such items. Or they can deal with the alien imbalths who live at the edge of the sea, hoarding spells in the layers of their pearls and trading arcane knowledge for secrets even more obscure. A thousand other perils and wonders are to be found in this innovative and highly detailed world!

Of course, while our samples give you an idea of the cool art and material to be found in the Acrohelion Campaign Setting, and our posts here can give hints about some of the specific creatures and ideas in its pages, we can't really capture the impact of the setting as a whole. It's a vibrant, dynamic, 'living' world with both grand scope and interesting detail. Cultures, religions, creatures, mysteries, organizations, NPCs, history, and the potential for tons of adventures as heroes shape the future of the world. It doesn't appeal to only one style of play, either... everything from subtle intrigue and role-playing to smiting the darkness hip and thigh is possible with the rich material here!
