New Season Breakdown: CBS

... though apparently without Gibbs. Which makes the Tony's-in-charge episodes late this season more logical, but still...
Is this true? I thought it was just a season-finale cliffhanger kind of thing...

If so, first Kate and now Gibbs. Ouch - have to decide whether to bother watching. Maybe some JAG cameos?

Good news: The Unit and NCIS are coming back next season.

Better [but old] news: Threshold remains cancelled.

The only new genre show I see is Jericho, a post-apoc drama.

Jeri Ryans -- who was on the season finale's Boston Legal kissing Kirk, err Denny Crane -- will be on CBS starring alongside James Wood in Shark. Yes, another legal drama.

He kissed her. She wanted to screw alan shore but he wouldnt cause he respects Denny too much. The bigger kiss was Murphy Brown...er Shirly Smidt kissing him.

I love how direct they are about it on the show. "It's May sweeps," says Denny Crane. And then, "See you next season," says Denny. "Same night?" asks Alan. "God, I hope so," answers Denny. I was rolling on the floor.

And a few weeks ago when, at the end, during the traditional Alan-and-Denny-drink-scotch-and-smoke-cigars routine, Alan says, "I haven't seen you all episode." ROFL!

Yea, I know this thread is about CBS, but I have to agree with Boston Legal being pretty good. I actually just started watching it this season and I have to say it's funny. They really have done an interesting job with Alan and Denny's interaction.

I really don't know for sure (not following Hollywood news much), but they did a big run on episodes with Tony running the crew late this year, and then had Gibbs resign at the end of the season finale. So I'd have to think the actor's not sticking around or something (best case would be he's going to be busy with a movie for half the season).

Yeah, better Shirley Schmidt than Kathryn Janeway. :p

Yeah. More material for your Blood and Guts series.

Well, I have an interest in special ops or I wouldn't have WRITTEN B&G, so shows like The Unit and Sleeper Cell (which was an AWESOME show) are right up my alley.

Shows like the Unit are even more appreciated after the dreck that was Over There.

I say Gibbs is out for a few episodes and then come back
