Nilgklib's Antimater Aura
Transmutation
Level: Sor/Wiz 7
Components: V, S, F
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: See text
Spell Resistance: See text
You are shrouded in a thin, bright green aura that vaporizes anything it touches. You and any creatures or objects touching your person during the spell's casting are immune to the effects, while anything else that touches you is effects as if by disintegrate, except that armor or other gear protects the creature from the effect. Thus, an opponent's armor bonuses count towards touch attacks; if the attack roll would have been a successful touch attack but is a failed unarmed attack, the creature's armor is destroyed (mage armor and bracers of armor act as if dispelled by dispel magic). The attack does not continue through the disintegrated armor because in retains its form just long enough to deflect the blow. Similarly, weapons that hit the aura are affected, but not before they deal damage.
Note: The spell cannot be voluntarily dismissed once cast, nor can the caster choose what objects are effected. Thus, a poorly clothed character under the effects of the aura could be tripped prone and freefall down until the spell ends.
