new spell research.

hey everyone, my cleric is needing to research a new spell, one that is custom an not in any book.
my dm has said that this new spell is 5th level.
what i want to know is how long does it take, how much gold does it cost and what are the dc's i can't find this info in the players or the dmg. please help.

Takes 5 weeks, costs 5,000 gp, Spellcraft check DC 15.

I could have sworn that Andy Collins said on his boards that in 3.5, spell research costs were lowered ....
