Range: Long (400 ft. + 40 ft./level)
Duration: 1 round/level

Upon completion of this spell, cascades of flasks of alchemist's fire, flasks of acid, tindertwigs, thunderstones, flashpellets, tanglefoot bags, healing salves, alchemical sleep gas, glowpowder, and sunrods fall from the heavens, drawn towards targets in the radius.

Each round someone spends in the radius, 15-30 (3d6+12) items impact them (half as many on a successful reflex save), generated randomly on the table below. (Saves are made against the spell's save DC, not the Item)

D12 roll---Item--------------Effect
1-----------Alchemist's Fire-1d6 fire plus 1 splash as Alchemist's Fire
2-----------Acid---------------1d6 acid plus 1 splash as acid
3-----------Tindertwig-------1 point of fire damage
4-----------Thunderstone---Fortitude save or be deafened
5-----------Flashpellet-------Reflex save or be dazzled for 1 minute
6-----------Tanglefoot Bag--Reflex save or be entangled
7-----------Healing Salve----Heals 1d6 hp.
8-----------Alchemical Sleep Gas-Will save or sleep for 1 minute
9-----------Glowpowder------Outlines invisible creatures
10---------Sunrod-------------1d6 bludgeoning damage, and a lit sunrod lays at their feet.

Focus: A glass beaker with a rim of gold and a stylized blue chimera laid out in lapis lazuli on the walls of it, worth 500 gp.

Yeah, sure

I like the idea, but it strikes me like Evard's Black Tentacles, only worse. When you're running a combat, EBT is a pain. You have to randomly place a dozen or so tentacles, and make attacks with all of them every round. Unless it's used to wipe out a couple wimps, combat slows to a crawl. This looks like it could do the same thing, only to a much larger degree. I probably have it make one random effect each round, or all effects every round, depending on what level spell you want.

Why do you roll a D12 when there are only 10 possible outcomes? This spell can totally be abused, okay first I cast Tenser's floating disk then I cast this spell. Now I have an endless supply of money with no XP cost. Wow, how much does Thay cost exactly?
