This is a vampire template that I whipped up. I decided that it was kinda ridiculous that vamps get all of their powers at once, and i've never liked energy drain attacks-especially considering that to my knowledge, nothing like that has ever appeared in literature. So, I took away the energy drain attack, gave them 2 slams, and spread out the other abilities over 6 stages of growth, gained by sucking blood. The stages are thus: 1st: Undead, +2 Str, +2 Cha, Blood Drain, DR 5/silver, Feats, Vampire Weaknesses, Create Spawn (vampire spawn only), +4 to Vampire Skills, +2 natural armor. 2nd (at 25 Con drained): Spider Climb, 2 Slams 1d4, Fast Healing 2, Cold/Electricity Resistance 10. 3rd(at 75 points drained): +2 Str, +2 Dex, DR 10/silver, Alternate Form (normal animals), +2 natural armor. 4th(at 100 points): +2 Int, +2 Wis, +2 Cha, Fast Healing 5, Cold/Electricity Resistance 20, full Vampire Skills, Turn Resistance +2, 2 Slams 1d6. 5th (at 150 points): Gaseous Form, Children of the Night, DR 15/silver, Domination, +2 natural armor. 6th(at 175 points): +2 Str, +2 Dex, DR 15/+1, Alternate Form, (Dire animals), Create Spawn (vampires), Turn Resistance +4. What do you think? It's a pretty simple change, but any opinions?
