New "What sort of RPG player are you?" poll (this one by Charles Ryan)

I found this poll from Robin D. Laws blog. He states:

Charles Ryan has created a quiz to determine what type of RPG player you are, which he tells me was inspired by Robin's Laws Of Good Game Mastering. This looks crunchier and more comprehensive than previous online quizzes to match you to your Robin Laws type. Give it a spin and see if it returns the results you're expecting.

I've taken these before, but I agree with Robin. It does seem a bit more "designed" than previous versions of the idea.

I come up as:

Personally, I would swap round Tactician and Character Player where I am concerned. I'm not a tactician in any shape or form.

Well, I knew I was in for the story, plot, and characters. Just surprised at how high I scored on the first two attributes, though! 95 percent is quite high!

The difference between Character Player and Weekend Warrior (I love kicking butt... or at least facilitating butt-kickage...) is more pronounced than I would expect. I don't consider myself as deeply concerned with a character's psyche as the survey suggests, unless I'm DM'ing. perhaps this shows that I want very different things out of a game as a DM than I do as a player... :\

Nifty, lots of folks appear to be getting character player. I think I'd actually put myself in taht category. The last time I took that test I got tactician on top and storyteller underneath. I seem to recall a lot of people in my WLD group getting something similar.

Does anyone else have the DMG2? If I were to go by the player types in that book I'd definitely be an outlier.
