But I like Power Gaming so much... nothing better than using all my character's abilities in a single session ... and getting stuff to enhance those abilities ... or is this Character Player talk?

Wow. I got some low ratings:

Just tried again, paying more attention to the questions. Wow, even *lower* ratings.

You failed us as a gamer, Merric. Those scores were awful. Clean out your office and leave your key with the front desk on your way out.

Hmm. I need a test that focuses on my skills as a DM. I really don't play D&D that much. I just run it lots. :)

Cheers!

I was rather astonished. I typically view myself a highly tactical player and a decent powergamer, though I prefer to balance that with a great story and rich character.

Storyteller: 90%
Tactician: 65%

Hmmm...I could see why there would be no Casual Gamers on the internet web site here, but where are the ... specialists?

The ways of the ninja are hard to understand and inscrutable. We ninjas are everywhere and see all things, but no-one can know that we exist.

Wow, this quiz knows me better than I know myself. I have noticed my changes in gaming have changed since 3e came out. Specifically, the last few years. I've been gravitating towards games like C&C, WFRP, and OD&D vs. D&D 3.5 and IH.

Mine

You scored as Character Player.

The Character Player enjoys creating in-depth characters with distinct and rich personalities. He identifies closely with his characters, feeling detached from the game if he doesn’t. He takes creative pride in exploring different characters, often making each new one radically different than others he’s played. The Character Player bases his decisions on his character's psychology first and foremost. He may view rules as a necessary evil at best, preferring sessions in which the dice never come out of their bags. For the Character Player, the greatest reward comes from experiencing the game from the emotional perspective of an interesting character.
