If you are, or ever have been one of my players.... You should exit this thread immediately
Well, this isn't tremendously well fleshed out, but I'm working on it. Feel free to suggest what you'd like. I'm still brainstorming right now.
I've got two players I am going to introduce to the new WoD. Both have experience playing Werewolf, but I think we'll bring them into Vampire now. I won't start with Vampire, however. I'm going to start with just mortals. I will also be bringing another player in down the road.
What I plan to do is give them each a character sheet with only attributes on it. They will wake up in a car wreck, with no useful memories. The female character, Mia, will have been driving, and the male character, Dan, will be in the trunk.
I'll have their full character sheets with me. They'll gradually discover their capabilities as they unravel the mystery that is their lives.
The background will involve vampire pain-in-the-assitude. Dan is/was a ghoul, a lackey, but a powerful one (social power... not physical). Mia is an agent of the SIF (Supernatural Investigation Front) an organization that I use in my games. Mia never knew about vampires, and Dan never knew about the SIF (when they had their memories).
Before the crash, Mia will have broken Dan out of jail, because she'll have gotten information that he might be able to help her, if he could be "persuaded". However, they both will have been attacked, had their memories removed (exactly how this will be accomplished is still undecided) and the fake crash scene will be set up, more or less in the middle of nowhere.
Dan's master, upon hearing of his disappearance, will make his whole life disappear. All his credit cards will be invalid, anything he could use as ID, useless... he'll effectively disappear. Dan & Mia's captors and conspirators will make the same thing happen to Mia, anticipating Dan's master's move.
The grand plan of the conspirators is to both tie Mia & Dan together, bringing Mia into understanding and knowledge of the requiem, before embracing them both (which won't happen for quite some time... maybe never if things don't play out right). They'll then be a powerful tool against Dan's old master.
So... ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions?
