Mongoose Publishing would like to welcome Aaron Dembski-Bowden as the latest addition to our full-time writing staff. He is already busy, beavering away at the Magic of Glorantha supplement and will be diving into Lankhmar soon after!

We look forward to seeing many ground-breaking and interesting books from Aaron over the next few years.

LANKHMAR!

When did Mongoose get the Lankhmar license?

I love Lankhmar! Does happy dance.

When? When? When? When? When?

Cheers!

Who will soon be buying Lankhmar products, if they're d20/OGL-based.

Not that I know very much about it, but...

What's wrong with the Runequest system?

It's not a system I know, and I tend to stick to D&D and the d20 System. The main exceptions have been Earthdawn and Alternity. If the books have a lot of detail then I just might buy them for the Lankhmar setting.

However, if I had one wish then it would be that Mongoose put out a single book that converts the Runequest rules to the OGL rules uded for the Conan RPG. Heck, even a Web Enhancement for the main Lankhmar book that gives a short overview of how to convert Runequest characters to the Conan RPG would be enough.

That could bring about some cross sales. In fact, I know it would, since I've yet to buy the Conan RPG, and if I could use its rules for Lankhmar then I would be very happy.

Cheers!

Is Vincent Darlage on full-time with Mongoose yet?

I mean, he has consistently produced dynamite work for the Conan RPG...but I have no clue if he is "Staff" yet.

Makes sense. It sometimes seems that there are way too many alternate versions of the D20 system out there. Though it IS nice to have choices, at some point you just have to say enough is enough, I'm sticking with "X" because this is what I like.

Hopefully you'll get your wish for the conversion doc!
