New Year rpg Resolutions

You knew it was coming

So, for 2011, what are your Rpg goals - whether trying a new game, furthering or finishing a current campaign, devising a new campaign world or trying out a new character or hoping to hit 30th level before the dice gods abandon ye.

I'm hoping to get some more gaming in with my kids, and to get my Romeworld and Crimson Empire campaigns into publishable form.

i tend to be a quiet person and, as such, my descriptions are more vivid in my head than spoken.

As an example: the last game I played in, I used this icey storm like spell and in my head it was this gusting blizzard that pelted the enemies with ice and tossed them around from the harsh winds. of course, all i ever said was 'attack, hit.. x damage.. move him there.."

Though, that isn't always the case ...sometimes i do manage to spit out better desscriptions (and, oddly, i tend to describe slightly more often when i dm than when i play), but not always and instead only the voices in my head are able to share the cool seen i am envisioning.

so i will resolve to be more vocal in my descriptions....

I've already made my gaming New Year's resolution. I sent an email to my players about it and they're all on-board and excited about supporting me. I can't wait.

As of next Monday, Jan. 3, we'll only be playing HackMaster. This means we're dropping our current D&D Essentials campaign. My goal is to run HackMaster for my group of 5 players for a minimum of one year.

I made this resolution after receiving a gift card for xmas and purchasing the new Hacklopedia of Beasts. What an awesome book!

Finish my hack-job on Heroquest 2 and start a Mass Effect universe game with it.

That and stop my meth habit.

Find a way to sneak in a bit more gaming while still doing an A+ job parenting (or, at least, shooting for that A+).

Also, get the Spellbound Kingdoms revision out the door already.

I'd like to run a D&D game for the first time ever, coming up with the plot and the adventure myself.

I resolve to focus on a gaming project and finish it. Oh, who am I kidding.

I need to complete Creation Schema (the plot anyway)

Work more on Siberys Seven (as it leads into the whys / hows of other stories)

Work on John Play (because the lil' voice in my head won't shutup)

Heroes of Eldeen (cause it will wrap up lose ends from Creation Schema)

Running Man (cause my son and I want to)

Under a Darksun (cause I feel nostogic off and on)





and finish my Template list (1/2 of a book left then review the Dragon/Sungeon magazines I have)

Post drawings of key characters and events in ALL of the above.
