Newbie Qustions about Enworld (3.5e)

First Post
I’m carouse about a lot of things in Enworld (3.5e)

In the character record thread, it says “SRD” is used and it is a link to d20srd, does this mean anything on that site is approved for use? Does it mean any Open game content (that is referenced under SRD) is ok for use? is there limitations? It is really baffling to newbies, well at least to this one ^^;

Flaws and traits: Are they allowed/in Enworld?
Bloodlines: As above.
Sculpt self/Prestige races: As above
Heritage feats: As above.
Abyssal Heritor Feats: As above, I’m not entirely sure if they count as heritage feats, or if they are not becuse they are from hordes of the abyss ^^;

Can skill points be saved? Let’s say I make a barbarian and max out all the skills the character has that are trained/class skills(that I want), and I’m planning to get a level or so in rogue and I’m planning to make the character be able to sneak around relatively well, perhaps not as well as a pure bread rogue/sneak, but still able to sneak around well: could I not spend all the skill points at level 1 and same them for newly made class skills at level 2?
Also, can characters start out at class level 0? I ask because one of the races I’m interested in is level advancement 1, and I would not mind having to have no character class for a level while they get to “Level 1”

Well, that is all I can think of right now, your help is, Hopefully, Potentially … Damn it did not want to sound(write) conceded and now I’m coming off kilter, wait, I am off kilter :hmm:
Any help is, will be, appreciated :p

EnWorld doesn't really have any connection to any particular rules system. That's up to the DM of the campaign you're playing.

However, if you have rules questions, the SRD for 3.5 is an excellent place to look first. It is open content, and may all be used in any 3.5 campaign. Other sources not listed there are not open content, and your DM may or may not have the books to let you use them in his game (or you may have to buy them yourself).

There is a whole area on EnWorld devoted to 3.5 character creation and perfection. It is in the previous editions area.

EN World, overall, doesn't have one single set of rules.

If you're talking about "Living EN World", that's just one campaign world some folks might play within. You'd do better to ask such questions in its particular forum, than here in the General forum.

Right. I think you're mistaking our Play by Post forums with the forums in general. Head to the forum "Talking the Talk" for information about online play. Games are run as play-by-post in lots of different rules systems.
