Newsworthy RPG Events Since Start of Year?

Hi Everyone,

I've been gone from EN World for a while and I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on what they believe have been newsworthy events within the RPG industry since the start of the year?

The big industry news would probably be Mike Mearls working for WotC and the ... somewhat unique ... GAMA awards.

There have also been a lot of really good products released. Check out the ENnie award voting thingie for the rundown.

The ENnies have been huge, possibly the single biggest RPG event since...last years ENnies!!

I may be a bit biased though.

Diaglo was caught in the closet playing 3rd Ed. with a teddy bear, a Raggedy Ann doll, and something inflatable.

Other than that, been kinda quiet. Lots of anticipation for Iron Heroes recently.

Monte Cook is releasing his homebrew setting, Ptolus, as a new city/setting.

The speculation as to what it would be before it was announced was a lot of fun.

If you go to the bottom of the General forum, change the date range shown, and then sort by Number of Posts or Number of Views (the column headers), you'll get a good sense of what people have been talking about.
