I vote for swamps/jungle/rainforest. After that, maybe mountains.

Woodlands and grasslands are too near the default, and caves/caverns have been done in a number of places (Underdark, frex).

The FR Underdark book wasn't even in the same vein as the current environment series. It was more a setting book for the Realms. What the underdark needs is a proper environment book such as Frostburn, Sandstorm and Stormwrack.

Swamps, marshes, and bogs! come on they are a staple.

How about city environments? Although the two DMGs and Races of Destiny has good support fo this.

It'd be a heck of a lot more exciting than "Grassburn" the plain-ar handbook.

Water on a prairie is scarce.

Hrm, either not all prairies or the Prairie Potholes region in North America is seriously misnamed (the potholes being literally hundreds of ponds & small lakes).

Isn't Swamps covered in Stormwrack (being kinda aquatic)?

No. And swamps are rarely very deep, which makes most of the Stormwrack content inapplicable.

Not to mention that it's easy to steal from Sharn & Waterdeep.

I'm betting we'll see a big underdark book. Of course, Forgotten Realms fans got a big Underdark book alreadly, but it's certainly the most expansive of all monster terrains, so we can easily another book devoted to it.

I'd love to see a swamp book too. Gotta wonder what it would be called, keeping the current naming trend in mind. "Swampgas" perhaps? "Mudhole" maybe?

Swamplight or Marshlight would both be fun. Finally, Will O Wisps get scary!
