My understanding of a large weapon for a medium sized creature is a two handed weapon.
They tend to be heavy and big.
Thus a machine gun would be 2 handed and large and a machine pistol would be 1 handed and medium.
A light weapon tends to be light and small, and one size smaller than the creature.
I am not linking the weapon size to a creature size directly by the physical size, ie a large weapon is not the same size as a large creature or vehicle.
What don't you like and why?

but I do see them as different.
Techno is a biological/ mechanical hybrid equipment which is independant to a creature and cybernetics is a machine which is grafted to a living creature.
