So what games are big for next weekend. I know my Colts have a by week so I am not real pumped about the upcoming week.

A rather weak week if you ask me...

Is KC as bad as their record would suggest and is Jacksonville really that good?

Favre in a dome.

Denver at Oakland, good ole rivalry.

Can Seattle rebound and end the streak? (Yeah... right.)

Carolina at Philadelphia, 1:00 pm
Cincinnati at Cleveland, 1:00 pm
Green Bay at Detroit, 1:00 pm
Houston at Tennessee, 1:00 pm
Kansas City at Jacksonville, 1:00 pm Miami at Buffalo, 1:00 pm
San Diego at Atlanta, 1:00 pm
Seattle at New England, 1:00 pm
San Francisco at N.Y. Jets, 1:00 pm
Washington at Chicago, 1:00 pm
Denver at Oakland, 4:15 pm Pittsburgh at Dallas, 4:15 pm
Minnesota at New Orleans, 8:30 pm

Pittsburgh Dallas is going to be a great game. Steelers have been doing great, but really haven't been playing the elite teams. If they can get a win at Dallas that will help carry them into their next two games after the bye: New England and Phili!!

That was the way I felt this week with my Eagles having the week off.

Watching the Packers vs. Titans right now and wondering what is happening with Green Bay. Other than the shoot out with Indy, they haven't really done anything. The defense is poor and Green already has four fumbles on the year.

As for a game to get pumped up for next week: Seattle at New England. That should be a great game.

The Packers: They have two major problems. Firstly, their rabid insistance on adopting an old school Bears defensive system which doesn't suit their players too well has made their defensive squad one of the most atrociously underpowerforming squads in the league. Secondly, the Packers Favre dependence becomes problematic when the big guy gets hurt. They really need a decent backup.

The Lions: We are now what I consider a mid-grade level team. The rookie class we drafted this year has really proven beneficial, and Joey Harrington has really stepped his game up. Our run defense has been stellar, and the secondary is steadily improving, although Dre Bly's injury really hurts in that area. While playoff berth is possible this year, I believe next season we'll see the Lions really come into their own.

The Colts and The Patriots: No real input here other than me hoping that the Colts will find a way to beat out the Patriots for the AFC title.

The Eagles: Best team in the NFC as far as I can see. They don't seem to have any discernible weak spots.
