What are the odds of the Steelers taking down the Pats? I'd like to see it happen, it's possible but I deem it unlikely.

Maybe but it certainly won't help. Belichik eats rookie QB's for breakfast.

The Steelers are more then a rookie QB. THey have a good running game and a good defense. Heck the special teams are improved as well. Now, is that good enough to beat the Pats? I don't know but both teams are really playing well.

A rookie QB is still a rookie QB. He's also the player that handles the ball more than anyone else on the field. As good as Roth (I'm not even going to try to spell his name) is playing, he hasn't played against a Belichik defense before.

But not as good as the Colts or Jets. The Pats will force Roth to pass, and that will be his undoing.

The Steelers have one advantage ofver the Colts and the Jets in the running game though. Defensives know the Steelers run the ball, so the Steelers are used to seeing more people in the box to stop the run then other teams.

Don't get me wrong, the Steelers are going to be the underdog here and will need a near perfect game to win, but I gotta hope they can

And to think, 5 years ago I had to hang my head and reluctantly describe myself as a "long suffering" fan of the Patriots and Red Sox.
