NG vs. N: Neutral Good Victorious!

Even without the stats we can short cut a bit, since the dragon can breath-weapon the mastodon from the air. So we might as well get the next neutral opponent out here as well.

Sorry it took so long. I completely forgot.

Ray flees in round 499 after being breathed on twice.
A grizzly bear flees the arena in round 502 after being breathed on.
The biggest centipede you have ever seen flees the arena in round 505 after being breathed on.
The dragon can breathe again in round 507.

I do not have the next creature. Can someone please E-mail me the stats for the dunewinder (Sandstorm), or let me know if it cannot avoid the breath or affect the dragon, in which case it will flee the arena.

Thank you.

The dragon is at 80N90E40Z, southbound.

Round 505: A huge, 40-foot long, reddish-brown worm with a gaping mouth enters the arena. Its body is covered in bristles. It wriggles to 75N90E and breathes out a gout of fire, which the dragon does not dodge (rolled 19 Ref save), taking 25 points of fire damage. The dragon has 143 HP remaining.

The dragon is first in round 506.

The dragon climbs away towards the south.

(double MEA to 40N60E80Z facing S)

To help compress: dragon will wingover back and attack from 80Z with lightning breath, hoping the fire breath of the worm won't be able to reach that high. It'll keep making passes at that height until either the worm hits it with an attack/effect or the worm goes away)

The dragon will hover about until the draw comes.

(Sigh. I learned my lesson last time about trying to face them on their own terms though.)

(Rats. I do not know if the worm would have won, but it might have been fun (for me, at least).)

A draw is declared after round 510.

First in round 511 for Neutral Good is an ursinal guardinal (Book of Exalted Deeds). Go, Bears! Beat the Cardinal! Gansk, this one is all yours.

Ullus paitently enters the arena and makes an arcane gesture. A wall of brilliant fire races from north to south, sealing off the opposite entry side.

(MEA: to 90N25E, Std: Purified Wall of Fire from northernmost to southernmost wall at 115E)

Note: I'm assuming the wall also blocks initial visibility of the ursinal's position. I wish I was able to prepare it un-purified, but I understand the need to keep spell list as in the book. The ursinal does have a surprising lack of self-buffing spells and SLAs...

The crowds gasp. All the Evil factions thank their respective, uncaring gods that they aren't fighting Ullus. In particular, the Evil outsiders not immune to fire thank their respective, uncaring gods.
