Night Below Banner Sizing/Scrolling Issue

The WotC "Night Below" banner ads are not sized correctly. They are too wide, which shifts the rest of the frame widths, and makes it so that I need to scroll from side to side to view a complete page. I think it's pretty annoying for an ad to require me to change the way I browse the site.

It's worth mentioning that when I'm at work (on break, of course) browsing ENWorld, I use a smaller than normal window size, so people using a larger window will probably not have this problem.

It seems to me we had this issue before with WotC, but were forced to endure it until their ad time ran out. Have we instituted any type of size standards for the ads to remove this problem permanently?

I'm at 1024 by 768 and this is happening to me too. In the past this happened on another banner, and the banners left edge was set a handful of pixels further to the left to offset the size... I think 1024 x 768 is still hte most popular browsing window size.

Me three.

For what its worth, sometimes the ad and everything works fine, though I haven't been able to discern any kind of pattern yet.

*bump*

The problem is still happening. I have confirmed that Heckler's assessment is correct; sometimes the ad works fine, sometimes it's sized wrong. Can anyone comment on it?

I must admit it didn't bother me at first but since the ads are on such a high rotation the problem with screen width is starting to get annoying. I have already bought half a case of Night Below and plan to buy another case when my finances recover a bit so it's not like the advertising is going to do anything for me either.

Michael is focused fully on ENnies voting setup right now. He won't have a chance to even look at this until that's complete. Sorry, gang.

I just refresh the page til I get an ad banner that isn't too large...usually one refresh.

F5 is quick refresh.
