Night Below Preview No. 3

What looks ridiculous on the scrow, exactly? It looks like a half humanoid, half scorpion. How is that any more ridiculous than a half horse half humanoid? I think it looks pretty cool, a great looking monster.

Huh, not a bad looking set, actually. I could actually see me keeping nearly all my minis from a case (that's never even been close to the fact in prior sets).

The flesh golem in Night Below looks MUCH better than the one in Aberrations. I am looking forward to getting some of those new flesh golems. I am also pleased by many others in the set. And I can't remember ever getting three large dragons in one set before. The proportion of monsters to PC races looks pretty good for this set (I want many more monsters than PC races, since we already have pretty much every type of PC covered).

Reaper will have a prepainted "Charnel Grub" soon enough, though the uncommon carrion crawler is pretty cool.

(the below pics are of the metal one)

That's one happy little guy. I bet he's the hit at every party.

That is awesome. Every time I open Secrets of Xen'drik, I wish I had a scorrow mini. The only downside to this preview is that the value of my harbinger carrion crawler is likely to go down. So it goes! :)

And best of all, the scorrow mini follows the monster description, unlike the picture in Secrets of Xen'drik.

Claudio, are you referring to the fact that the illustration of the scorrow includes the scorpion's three normal pairs of legs and large pincers, when it should instead have four pairs of normal legs?

According to Secrets of Xen'drik, scorrow have either scorpion claws or humanoid hands. The illustration has both.

Demiurge out.

I refer to the fact that the scorrow either has three scorpion legs and two humanoid arms, or three scorpion legs and two arms ending in pincers (as per the description). The illustration has both arms and pincers.
