It's so easy to run and play, but still has depth and each class feels unique. The rules are digestible in a few hours, or less. Statblocks are tiny and easy. Adventures that I've run from them have had really cool ideas. My players, who rarely remember all what their DND characters can do, remember these rules, even though we play more DND. If it was up to me, we'd move fully over.

Mainly I MUST be able to run with very little prep and lots of improv.
 





I'm sure it is not actually this way, but that quickstart makes it seem like all PCs are humans. I would back it just for that, I think. But searching the art suggests there are the usual suspects.
