I wonder about that "5E compatible" claim.
From what I read, it claims to be compatible with the adventure paths and campaign settings in particular. The only thing that would have to be swapped out for sure is combat magic; I think everything else can be used as is.

Sell me on it.
You only roll damage dice and miss on a 1. Same with monsters. You crit on the highest die and it explodes, so damage can get swingy fast for PCs and NPCs. PCs wear armor that reduces damage, but you have to spend an action (3 each round that double as reactions) to utilize your armor rating, which can come at the expense of moving, attacking, or other actions. The game is not complicated, but it is also not 5e and has a completely different combat flow while maintaining the same high fantasy feel of D&D. My only real complaint is that there aren't as many spells as D&D.

Not exactly. Here is a wraith in Nimble, and it doesn't look like a wraith in D&D. It is not complicated, but if you read the 5e stat block, it does not at all translate to Nimble without a little forethought. This thing has no armor, but 94 hit points is a bucketload that low level PCs are not going to churn through. The wraith misses 25% of the time but crits 25% of the time, and does +10 damage PLUS adds a wound, which is the equivalent of a failed death save in 5e. They are horrifying creatures.

Sounding more and more like a Fantasy heartbreaker than anything else.
