No Cons in DC area?

I'm pretty sure George Mason University had a group that had a regular CON but I've never attended one so I can't say with any real certainty.
Your best bet to find out about local CONs is to visit any of the Local Game Stores. They usually have flyers about local events. Game Parlor in Chantilly or Woodbridge, VA are your best bets to get some information. There is also a game store called Eagle and Empire, just north of Ft. Belvoir, which usually has some information about local events.

Ha! Of course there are. CONstitution ran for several years, and was one of my favorite cons. I believe it's co-organizer (who posts here occasionally as Type II Gamer) does another con in the area as well. He's an old and incredibly good friend whose dice bag I've held hostage for three quarters of a year; I'll point him to this thread.

I know plenty of people (Thorntangle being one of them) who would probably be interested in a CON inside the DC city limits...even something right off the metrorail system (being in the Virginia or Maryland burbs) would be great.
If someone has the time and/or resources, I think we could conceivably hold a DC Gameday.

Do you do RPGA? Most of the gaming cons in this area center around RPGA. There are plenty of RPGA cons coming up in and around DC.

Hey, I might even show up!!!
Not that that would be a big swing vote for anybody or anything, but a Con or a gameday in the DC area would be close enough for me to make a day trip of. I live in DE, so I could drive the 2 hours or so, and show up. I might even be able to swindle some MEG products out of Hal and Doug for this, and possibly bring some players too. I'll keep checking this thread for info, in case anything develops.
