I always felt that Timothy Dalton, as he looked in "The Rocketeer" WAS Tony Stark/Iron Man. Guess he's a bit old now.

Tony Stark ain't no spring chicken either.

The Auld Grump, it's who I would choose, anyway.

*EDIT* For a younger actor, maybe Brendan Fraser?

I would always preferr unknowns in parts like this. A known acter has that baggage of being known to get past (A reason I dislike known actors doing voice-over in animation but thats neither here nor there). An unknown also has the benefit of being cheaper...give more budget to the effects...more likely to sign for more than one picture (If you want to build a franchise), and don't have the clout to change the production.

Funny. You look like Alan Rickman. Oh, that's your avatar. :p

It's kinda hard for me to portray him as serious, when he has such a "baby" face. You know, one dimpled smile, and your oldest aunt can't resist squeezing his cheeks (not necessarily the ones on his face). ;)

I'd go with Johnny Depp, Viggo Mortensen, or Dougray Scott.

Whenever somone starts giving Tom Cruise probs, I say go read inteview with a vampire, than watch the movie. I was so impressed with him, I can see him doing any role.

Meh. He's been on too long since his Risky Business and Top Guns days. The last time I ilked him was in An Interview with a Vampire. After that, he's a hasbeena.

That and the fact that girls go orgasmic over him.

I'd go with Goran Visnjic (doctor on ER), or even Ben Browder. How about Matt LeBlanc, though he's probably too type-cast . . . what a role to break out on.
