I hate to say this but, screw Superman and Warner Brothers (even though they made Babylon 5).

The original article says only that a production deal, which X3 was explicitly not a part of, has fallen apart.

If you listen to the commentary by the producers on the DVDs and watch the interviews, I would find it hard to believe that they'd arbitrarily drop Singer over this.
