Just twitter #gencon to see all the news.

For example, just saw this :

I thought Revenant's were supposed to be DDI only? Or is that new DDI only races...

I imagine that the Demonomicon will irritate a lot of the 3e/Pathfinder crowd because I think some things will change to fit the defacto 4e cosmology. As a 4e player and DM, however, I'm very excited about the product.

Nope, can't see it happening really.

Apart from anything else, there are bound to be some freakin' awesome supplements out for the Pathfinder RPG, at least one or two along those very lines, I'd wager.

And well, as was mentioned, there's some great 3e stuff already out there, for them's that wants it / has it.

Well maybe the 3.5/Pathfinder crowd won't care (all the better really).

It just seems like a lot of the most vocal complaints about the direction 4th Edition "fluff" goes comes from some of those who don't even play 4th Edition.

Regardless, I stand (happily) corrected.

Perhaps one of the reasons they don't play 4th edition is the direction the 4e fluff has taken...

It's certainly a factor why I don't.
