Pro-psionics! Converge on the Knight! It may be distasteful for some of us, but the Psion and Psychic Warrior must not fall! Once the Knight has been trampled, surely some will flock to our side! *runs for the trenches*

:Sigh: Okay, this once I will vote for the Knight, but following that I will focus on other classes (whether Knight falls or not, pun intended :p ). I still find it odd that the Dread Necromancer is so unpopular (amongst the current choices), but the other school specialist - the Beguiler - is so popular. Perhaps it harkens back to Illusionist nostalgia?

I still like illusionist wizards, but I intend to try voting down the Beguiler at some point. I don't feel the Beguiler or Dread Necromancer are needed at all. They just diminish the point of even having illusionist, enchanter, and necromancer wizards, as well as having bards and evil clerics, in the game, and that ain't cool.

I certainly agree that we have lots of necromantic PRCs, not to mention the possibility of creating a necromancer from the cleric with death domain or wizard with necromantic school specialization.

However, the Dread Necromancer has several very nice advantages.
I agree it's not a bad class. Do we need it, though? No. Does it fill a needed niche? No.

Bye bye.
