By a large margin, the Psychic Warrior has been voted off the list. We are down to the final 3. This round will determine which two classes go into the final vote to determine the "soul survivor."

Vote for the class you want to vote off the list. The class you vote for will be removed from the list for the last vote.

Kill the Scout! It's more boring and less inspired than the other two. It isn't a bad class, but the other two are great classes. Come on, you know you want to!

I still say that burning one touch spell to add it to every hit of your full attack is broken, whether it's a 5d6 Shocking Grasp or a 6d6 Vampiric Touch. Bye bye, Duskblade.

Also, this isn't just about which is the best PC class, it's about building NPCs as well, and Warlock allows for some very flavorful designs that work a lot better with savage humanoids than 'traditional' arcane casters. Orc Warlock > Orc Sorceror, and Gnoll Warlock > Gnoll Wizard.

Getting pretty tough now.

Going to have to say the Scout goes this round. Concept-wise it's already pretty much covered by the ranger or rogue, while the other two hold otherwise unique standings in a base class.

Scout, hit the showers.

QFT.

I prefer the scout over the ranger or rogue, but in this case it lacks an interesting/new concept.

It's overpowered, but I'm not sure it's completely broken.

A 14th level Duskblade can use Vampiric Touch and add +7d6 to each successful hit in a full attack action (7x/day, only real defense is SR).

A 14th level Rogue can sneak attack and add +7d6 to each successful hit in a full attack action (limited by the need to flank, stun or otherwise set up the sneak attack).

Tone down the Duskblade ability slightly, either by decreasing the usages (using this ability on a full attack uses up two spell slots) or effectively lowering the frequency (he has to make a Concentration check on each swing to get the spell off, DC 15 on the first swing, +5 for each successive swing), and I'd have no problem with it.

As is, the somewhat overpowered Duskblade has to go over the somewhat underpowered Scout.

I predicted the scout would go third to last. Flak for skirmish, basically, which started coming in earnest last round. I won't be surprised if he goes down. But, I'm going for duskblade, which in an ideal multiclassing system wouldn't have to exist. I basically like all of the top ten classes, though, so no extreme prejudice here.
