from the news page:
Louis Porter, Jr. Design's Haven: City of Violence is now available for pre-orders. Those who Individuals who pre-order Core Rulebook online at the Louis Porter, Jr. Design web site will also receive a pack of 4 miniatures for the Haven: Concrete Jungle Urban warfare miniatures game and two online only PDF sourcebooks out of the following three: Gangland, Hell Hath No Fury or The Rat Bastard's Little Black Book, your choice.
No offense or anything (actually a little offense), but this game is not D20 related (please correct me if i'm wrong). It's actually made by someone that sees D20 as the devil incarnate. When D20 was released, this was/is one of the more vocal opponents, and evil sayers, i find it ironic that products by this company end up advertised on Enworld.

I can understand that the stuff could be used to create a D20Modern campaign, but so can a lot of games, is Enworld going to be reporting on all such games? I hope not, not because i don't like those games, but because will end up confusing. Haven: City of Violence isn't a D20 game and i think it would be usefull if the news mentioned that.

Now, i don't know wheter it's a good game or not, but that's not the issue. My issue is that it's a non-D20 game on the frontpage advertised as D20 news. I am still a little offended by this "guy's" rant on the evils of D20 and the implications he made towards it's supporters. Now, if it was up to me i would like to see this news item removed, but it ain't up to me, so here's my rant about it ;-)

ps. If i'm wrong about this, please accept my humble appologies. If not, i really hate companies that trash other people's work! (note: i'm not trashing this game)

Isn't Devil Incarnate the name of the d20 company from the same publisher?

*chuckles* It pretty much could be, but i expect that this publisher would rather eat his hat or/and shoot himself in the foot (which he is doing with his attitude)...

ps. you guys sure are fast *wanders off to compile his other wishlist*

I was close. The website shows Devil's Workshop as the d20 company name.

And well, it has been this site's policy to post non-d20 material when it was related to a d20 company. So in theory he has made it valid to get news acticles about his non-d20 stuff.
