Non d20 resources for d20 Modern

Biohazard

First Post
I highly recommend the following non-d20 resources for d20 Modern:

SCIENCE-FICTION/POST APOCALYPTIC

GURPS Ultra Tech 1 & 2 (worth their weight in gold)
GURPS Robots
GURPS Bio Tech

HORROR

Call of Cthulhu (either the d20 or the Chaosium version, but you NEED some Cthulhu mythos, dammit!)

GURPS Horror
GURPS Spirits (both this book and GURPS Horror will take care of 90% of your horror needs)

Hunter: the Reckoning (if you like the concept, this is an awesome game to run in d20 Modern)

...can anyone else recommend anything in these or other genres? I'm also lookin forward to Mongoose's OGL Horror and OGL Steampunk.

A wealth of plot ideas, equipment references, news and so on. You could not ask for a better daily site to check for Modern ideas.

This site will also link you to army, navy, air force, marine official sites, as well as the dept. of homeland security.

As an example, when I clicked on defenselink the other day, one of the headlines was "101st airborne celebrates Christmas in northern Iraq".

That's an adventure I'm running for my Blood and Guts game next week. :)

The "homeland" in question being the United States? After all, there are other countries represented on enworld... ;)

Given that defenselink is an AMERICAN military website, Id call that a safe bet.

Its also going to link you, to be clear, to the AMERICAN army, the AMERICAN navy, the AMERICAN air force, and the AMERICAN marines.

Chuck

PS one click of the AMERICAN link would have given that information.

And btw- given that you can find a lot of info about the current climate of the world at the above sites, such as global terrorism and the war in Iraq, I would still heartily recommend them to d20 Modern players of all nationalities.

Do I really need to break these things down for people?
