Non deity cleric domain?

Hi, I've been a reader here for years, never posted before though. I had a question I've been trying to find an answer to for weeks now for an upcoming game. Is there any way for a cleric (Has to be Mystra going for the initiate feat) to get time stop as a class spell? I have 4 class levels I can dip into but would hurt. Any 3.5 books allowed but no dragon magazines. Only way I could kinda figure would be to take magical training (FRCS) then arcane disciple and choose someone with a domain with times stop but I don't think having it as an arcane spell helps me in any way. Any ideas?

Time Stop is the level 9 spell on the Celerity, Planning, Time and Trickery Domains.

Edit: Oh... are you asking for a way to have it not as a domain spell, but on your main cleric list?
Hmm... I see your Dilemma. I'll see what I can find.

The Celerity Domain (CDiv pg 137) gives Time Stop as a domain spell. Planning Domain (CWar pg 115), Time Domain (PGF pg 91) and Trickery Domain (PHB pg 189) also grant it. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Mystra offers those domains.

Would your GM be willing to add one of those domains to Mystra? Why do you need Time Stop?

RUMBLETiGER: I'd be happy with it as a domain spell. I just need it to be on my class list so that I can hopefully get to use it with spell stowaway in a defensive manner. @Grogg of the North It's an epic (27th level) pvp tournament. Time stop would be pretty handy in that setting especially with spell stowaway. Unfortunately it's a "if it's not in a published book it's not happening" thing. Edit: Grammar fails me first thing in the morning.

Alright, the Contemplative PrC from Complete Divine grants a bonus domain, stating, "The character can choose any domain made available by her deity or alignment."

I understand "alignment" to refer directly to the Good, Evil, Law & Chaos domains, any way to work Planning as Law or Trickery as Evil or Chaos?

I'll keep looking...

I did see the Contemplative PrC but I was figuring the domain for alignments would be "Chaos, Law, Good, etc, etc" domains and nothing else. I doubt any of those that grant time stop even possibly fall under alignment domains. I may be wrong though.(And in this case would love to be so.)

Do you have the option of worshiping more than one deity?

Faiths and Pantheons has the Techsmith PrC, requires worshiping Gond (NN alignment) but can grant the Planning domain at level 3. The PrC fully progresses Divine casting.

However, if it was a simple as worshiping more than one Deity, you'd probibly have just done that by now. I had a Cleric that Worshiped Kord and Bahamut, ever questing against the forces of Evil Dragons. Good times.

Still looking...

Ok, Complete Champion p.143 has the Domain Staff. Runestaves based around a domain and it's 9 levels worth of spells. While it provides info for only 4 domains the text box says all domain staffs would be the same price.

Would this item be an option for you?

Probibly not practical, but Lost Empires of Faerun has the Sunmaster PrC granting Planning domain at level 7. Requires Lawful alignment, already having the Sun and Law domains and worshiping Amaunator.

If only it were as easy as worshiping 2 deities... The domain staffs say "By expending a prepared divine spell or divine spell slot, the wielder can "cast" a spell of the same level or lower from the runestaffs list, as long as that spell also appears on the wielder's divine class spell list (including his domain lists, if any)." So, not having said domain in the first place makes it kind of a moot point. Mystra being Neutral Good makes me either Neutral Good, Lawful Good, or Chaotic Good. Which I'm currently Lawful Good. In my week and a half long search the only thing I've found so far is in planar handbook(sadly 3.0 thus out) the planar touchstone The Catalogues of Enlightenment method. That's the absolute only method I've managed to find however. Thank you for trying so hard though RUMBLETIGER
