NORAD tracks Santa

I just stumbled onto this, but apparently NORAD has been tracking and charting Santa's flight all over the world, complete with videos as he flies around delivering presents. See his current location, where he's been, and more over at www.noradsanta.org.

Unfortunately it's all a hoax to comfort the children of the world after the Dew Line incident of 1955. It was horrible they mistook the radar signature for an incoming Soviet bomber and shot him down over Northern Canada. :p

Nah, the bomber was following Santa. That's why it had to be shot down.

I don't know why it was following Santa. The Russian children get their presents before the Americans.

I'd heard in years past that NORAD does this but had forgotten about it. Thank you so much for the link! My children loved tracking Santa. The eldest, age 6, was particularly keen to watch the video "evidence" of Santa and his reindeer flying across the globe.

Wasn't he also shot down over Iraq 2002 or am I confusing South Park for Real Life again?
