It's been 4 months, but we're finally done with Mystical: Kingdom of Monsters for 4th edition D&D. I have had an absolute blast working on this project, and I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
If you're interested in capturing and raising monsters, this book is for you. With over 150 monsters, both new and re-envisioned, you won't lack for new companions. Play in a basic game, where you can easily pick up the book and play. Just grab a couple feats and decide on your powers. The rest is already done.
* Capture classic monsters, like the behir, pit fiend, and rust monster.
* Raise new monstorin, including Kickstarter creations such as the gnole, fel'kraz, and locan.
* Battle enemy monsters or track down and catch wild monstorin in a kingdom where a mad king seeks to manipulate monsters and declare all out war.
Or, play in a standard game, where you can choose one of up to 7 new trainer classes with which to adapt your own training style to the monsters you've captured.
* The generalist trainer travels the regions of the Kingdom on his quest to become champion.
* The scout protects her allies and uses monstorin to stand up for what she believes in.
* The researcher studies monstorin and uses their powers even while they reside within her aura.
* Breeders blend the essence of their monstorin to create new, fantastic allies.
