Nostalgia Edition...

Well... depends upon how they do things. If they clean things up (errata and spelling where needed), put everything in a (sleeve)box or big RC and make it in the form of a luxury printing (leatherbound etc.), then yes, definately interested. If it is just a reprint of the stuff I already have... then no... although, I could see people interested in these books who were not around at the time, and do not have the originals or are unwilling/unable to get them for a decent price through ebay...

I'd be heartbroken if they re-printed the RC with leather. I'd like to see the RC but in a form I could buy.

I might be interested in nostalgia editions.
If the OD&D set looks like MY OD&D set...I probably wouldn't be interested. It would have to be under $5 for that...no offense. It was the best at the time...but compared to the quality of products released now...I think I'll take hardback books with nice paper and color ink. I imagine with the right marketing it could be a nice little moneymaker with the right people...maybe.
Perhaps a Nostalgia edition of either B/X or BECMI (the FULL set) would be something I'd invest in. I could buy into that for the right price.
A set of the core D&D books...1e or 2e maybe (2e would have to have the first printing's artwork...didn't like revised 2e artwork too much, and they would have to have a monstrous manual all together...I don't really want another monster manual that's put into a binder...just personal preference) might be one I could consider...but it could be tough to make money on it considering some of the ease that people get these core books on the internet today already.
I already have the Special editions of 3.5, so probably wouldn't buy a nostalgia edition of that, but hearing some complaints about how rough it is starting to get to obtain a PHB for 3.5, perhaps that might be a consideration for WotC if they ever do come out with a nostalgia edition.
