Notes on the Aether (Rae judging)

OOC: Probably a smart idea. Something tells me Galwynn's about to buy the farm.

Also, you could use Keldar to aid another, to help either Galwynn or Rapture land a hit. Wouldn't have to be in base to base for that to work.

OOC: we'll have to wait and see. Difficult to know what's going to happen. That fire elemental goes before either Galwynn or Rapture, so things might look very different very quickly. You guys do keep charging off without Keldar and getting yourselves in trouble. Tch tch.

OOC: Rapture feels fairly safe, her AC is down to a 15 at the moment. That 8 dex hurts. But yes, aid another wouldn't hurt. Just watch where your aid hand wanders. Galwynn doesn't feel that way about you :p

Round 2

Initiative
Keldar: 23
Tommy: 21
Fire Elemental: 16. Down 4 hp
Galwynn: 16
Rapture: 14
Sammy: 5
Earth Elemental: 0 Down 5 hp

Within a fraction of a second of the fire elemental's appearance, Keldar puts an arrow into it, dispersing a substantial chunk of it.

Tommy waves a wand and fires a silvery missile into the earth elemental.

The fire elemental rushes at Keldar, swings and slams itself itnto the dirt. 1d20+5=6

Galwynn charges the earth elemental and bounces his sword off of its stony body.

OOC: Solange, would you like to change Rapture's action to not draw an AoO?
Code:
-----tddt-----
--------------
--------------
--------------
-----e-------- t = tower
-----G-------- d = tower door
-------------- f = fire elemental
-------------- e = earth elemental
--------f-----
-------R-K----

------T-------

Keldar winks at Rapture as he skirts the dissipating form of the fire elemental. "Nice teamwork," he says. He moves diagonally forward, shouting "Get back, pebblebrain!" and looses an arrow at the stony elemental, more in the hope of distracting it from Galwynn than of hitting.

OOC: Second round action, once earth elemental has attacked Galwynn: moving 30' into the same row as the earth elemental but 6 squares to its right; arrow attack 1d20+3 -4 for shooting into melee=10

Keldar: 23
Tommy: 21
Galwynn: 16
Rapture: 14
Sammy: 5
Earth Elemental: 0 Down 5 hp

Rapture slashes the fire elemental with her bastard sword, dissipating it.

Sammy holds her position.

The earth elemental swings at Galwynn and barely misses. 1d20+5=11

Keldar fires an arrow at the earth elemental, which bounces off.

OOC: my intention was to have Keldar move here:

Code:

-----e-----K-- t = tower
-----G-------- d = tower door
-------------- f = fire elemental
-------------- e = earth elemental

Tommy gestures with again with the wand, and another bolt of magical energy strikes the earth elemental.

ooc: wand of magic missile again, damage = 1d4+1=5. 5 charges remaining.
