Noticed something on the core set slipcover.

On the D&D core set there's a D&D logo on the slipcase. It's like a golden disk, with "D&D" in the centre, and on the outer ring there's the symbols of the gods.

Plus 1.

Yes, I know, there's the secret god Tharizdun in the DMG. I counted him. All in all there's 20 gods, but the ring has 21 symbols. The extra one is on 3 o' clock, looking like three lines like claw marks. A bit like what you find on the cover of the Werewolf the Apocalypse book. It's not Avandra either.

Do we have any idea on what that is about?

I hadn't noticed - I'll have to check it out...

One thing that immediately comes to mind - maybe it's the symbol of the dead god Io?

If it weren't for the pic of the elf with the shield, I might have conjectured this was the symbol of the unknown human god. I love a good mystery.

Congratulations, you made your Religion check! Now you'll need a Very Hard Diplomacy check to get Customer Service to tell you more about this mysterious deity.
