OK, I was sitting down last night and playing with the weapons from my Nova Wars campaign, and figured it might be time to place some here. If you remember, Nova Wars is more Space Opera than gritty realism, so the science is more gobbledygook than anything realistic. Having said that: Enjoy. Krevak M-68 Sniper Rifle The Krevak M-68 Sniper Rifle is the standard sniper rifle used by the Confederate Marine Corps. Having passed over two decades of hard usage in nearly every environment, the M-68 has managed to slip over to the civilian side via "Colony Protective Weaponry" legislation. A linear accellerator that uses "spun" electrons to bring a slug of metal up to almost .7C, the M-68's munition liberates most of it's kinetic energy in a tight cone in order to penetrate armor and put down the enemy in a single shot. With the patented Krevak "Shiv" scope, which first identifies the armor being worn by the enemy, and then alerts the operator to weaknesses in the armor, devestating hits are only a trigger pull away.
