About two weeks ago, Wizards either posted a notice or sent an email (I forget) saying that for November/December/January, the CB/Compendium update would be in the 3rd week of the month, instead of the first.

I think one of the reasons was so they could get the book that was releasing that month on the CB. Another was due to the holidays or something, I'm not certain.

There was no comment about the PHB3 content tho.

They probably haven't added it to the calendar because they're still figuring out when it would be best to release it. Do they still go on the first Tuesday of the month with a PDF only or do they wait until the CB updates on the 17th.

Here's hoping... not that I actually have time to use any PHB3 material... just am a speculation junkie.

Also... any guess as to which (if either) of the two adventure looking things are for the adventure path?

BTW, they updated the calendar yesterday. The PHB3 content will be the release of the final version of the monk; its happening on the 17th with the CB update.

I'm interested in seeing how the playtest version of the monk differs from the final version (plus we'll actually get some 22nd level utility powers). Dollars to donuts, while the monk will get an upgraded unarmed strike, you won't be able to enchant it. Instead, monks will use ki foci as implements, which hopefully means we'll get some more examples that can also be used by the assassin.

Also, in his editorial, Chris Youngs already stated that there will be an article on warlock pacts this month, so that must be a typo.

That is...assuming they preview the Wisdom based build of the Monk instead of the Strength based build. Which would be very tasty. :)
