Now on eBay: Data's head...

I'm almost tempted by this, and I own precisely no memorabilia of any kind, at all. Fortunately (for my self-respect), there's no way I can justify that kind of expense right now seeing as the missus and I are off to Iceland next month.

Are you at least staying in the Hotel Borg. I was very amused when I was wandering around Reykjavik and stumbled across it.

Is that like Hotel California, where you can check out any time you want, but you can never leave?

I believe that Data would logically argue that you certainly can afford it since your vacation plans are on ice. ;)
Ouch.

My trip to Iceland was one of the best vacations I've ever had. Have fun!
Thanks!

We're renting a house in Geysir (won it at a charity auction, actually), but we do need a hotel room for a night in Reykjavik... and I just checked the rates for the Borg. Unfortunately, would assimilate too much of our travel budget.

We'll definitely stop in for coffee or something.

We were there for a horse-riding expedition, and stayed in a hotel across the street from the geysirs in Geysir. Just fantastic. Erupted every fifteen minutes.

If you have the time or inclination for an afternoon horseback riding, I highly recommend Ishestir.
